". . . meeting new people and learning about their religions. I learned that no matter what religion you have or what rules you follow, we’’re all the same." –– Molly Grubb –age 11
". . . the ropes courses. We didn’t climb ropes, but we worked together to do three different courses. I especially liked the trust fall. We learned to trust each other when we fell into the arms of our friends. I learned that no matter what religion we are, we can still make friends. Will Rogers once quoted, ’A stranger is just a friend you haven’t met.’ I stand by that." –– Emily Andrews – age 11
". . . the trust fall. The trust fall was where you stand on a platform on a tree and fell down backwards into the arms of your fellow campmates. What I think people can learn from this camp is that other religions are as interesting as your own. At this camp, the Jewish and Christian kids really bonded." –– Miriam Smallman –age 9
"I’ve learned that whatever the religion, we can all be friends." –– Hollacyn Burns –age 10
"I learned that no matter what the religion, we are all human. You punch us, we bleed. Simple as that. I enjoyed the trust fall the most because just knowing that no matter what, they were there to catch me when I fell. That made me feel awesome. It’s a really moving experience." –– Holly Mills –age 12
". . . spending time with my new friends and knowing that I can trust them with my secrets, physical (trust fall), well being and to help me have fun. I learned more about Christian faith as well as what the Christian faith means to them. I also think that my faith was strengthened because of the experience. I had an awesome time and hope that all of us can use our experiences to the good of the world. It is wonderful knowing that I can trust them. In just a week, I have learned to trust everyone. I don’t know if I trust my friends back home as much. Thanks to everyone who made this camp fun. Though we are going back home, we all know that trust is a bond that is eternal." –– Anna Bobrow –age 11
". . . making tie–dyed t–shirts and going tubing. When we made the shirts, we were all just hanging out and getting messy with dye. But then when we went tubing, we were just sitting there floating down the New River. It was nice and relaxing, but the water was a little chilly. But really, I had a great time all together. Another thing that I really liked doing was the ropes course. We had to do all these challenges together. Some of them were pretty hard to figure out, but they were really fun." –– Kelsey Long –age 12
". . . learning more about the Christian religion." –– Rebecca Strunin –age 11
". . . discussing our different views of religion. Going to this Interfaith Camp has taught me so much about Christianity and the gift of being able to trust people." –– Julia Rohed –age 13
